Kirk+Samantha, Treasury On the Plaza, St. Augustine FL, Wedding Photography

October 25, 2016

Samantha was visiting a friend in Jacksonville, when she first met Kirk. He was chugging hot sauce after being dared by a friend. Now, if you know Kirk, you’re not surprised! Needless to say, he won the bet and definitely caught Samantha’s attention. Eventually, Samantha moved to Jacksonville. As fate would have it, Samantha and Kirk hung out in the same group of friends. They became best of friends and did everything together! Over a year of spending time together, Samantha knew she had found the one. And, little did she know that he was trying to slowly win her affection the entire time. The two became “official” when Kirk asked her to be his valentine with tons of red balloons and a personalized card. The couple used a red balloon icon through text messages to describe anything they were excited about. The red balloon really became their “theme” from then on. So it was no surprise, when Kirk brought Samantha home to a room filled with red balloons from floor to ceiling. Each balloon told a different reason why he loved her, and hanging from one balloon was a beautiful engagement ring. Kirk got on his knee and she very enthusiastically said, “Yes!”

We photographed the breathtaking couple tie the knot at The Treasury On the Plaza in St. Augustine. Samantha looked like a real life Princess – absolutely gorgeous! Hands down, our favorite moment had to be when Kirk saw her walking down the aisle towards him. This goofy groom couldn’t hold his tears in. It was precious. These two are perfect for each other.

My husband and I knew as soon as we met Jenilee and Jeff at the bridal show that they would be the perfect photographers for us. We were so lucky to find such artistic photographers with amazing personalities that made you feel like instant friends. We had a blast taking engagement photos and love that they let us do multiple ideas. Our wedding day was nothing short of amazing. They took into consideration everything that I wanted and made the experience so much fun. My husband and I are already looking forward to doing some maternity photos in the future and are sure they will be our photographers for our journey through life. -Kirk & Samantha
