Next year will be both Jeff’s and my 10 year high school reunion. I truly cannot believe that much time has passed since I was a high school student. Somedays it feels like it was just yesterday. It’s hard not to miss it. Don’t get me wrong, I definitely don’t miss school. My guess is I skipped more than I actually attended that final year of school. But, I miss being an 18 year old. Because, when you’re 18, chances are you haven’t been hurt by the world yet. You have this truly beautiful naivety. Anything is possible. The world is your oyster. You dreams seem so close; just around the corner.
Maybe that’s why I love Senior Photography so much. I love capturing the spirit of a high school senior; so fearless – so excited to grow up!
Courtney’s mom arranged her Photo session with me and when Courtney showed up, I’m pretty sure I squealed inside. As you can see, she is beautiful! She has the most gorgeous, milky skin, piercing blue eyes, and full red lips! Before I starting shooting, I asked her to tell me about herself. And, what’s more beautiful than Courtney’s outside appearance is her sweet personality. She loves musicals and plays. And I bet that time on stage equipped her with the confidence she displayed during her entire session. She wasn’t uncomfortable in front of the camera like so many others are.
Her images turned out so beautiful! Congratulations Courtney! May all those dreams of yours (and the ones you don’t even know about yet) come true!Tags: Kansas City Photography, Loose Park, Senior Photography
